Thanks to an emerging middle class eager to upgrade its diet, China is expected to account for 38% of global seafood consumption by 2030, according to the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). With 15 years of experience in food marketing, Fan Xubing of Beijing Seabridge Marketing & Consulting Co. Ltd., in the Day 1 keynote address, will provide an in-depth look at trends in seafood branding and marketing in China.

Fan Xubing is managing director and general manager of Beijing Seabridge Marketing & Consulting Co. Ltd., a Beijing-based food marketing, promotion and consulting firm specializing in agri-products and imported food, with clients including foreign governments, trade associations and foreign agri-business companies. He has 15 years experiences in food marketing, promotion and consulting for seafood, meat and agro-products. Previously, he was China sales manager for Marine Harvest’s Beijing office until 2002 when he joined Beijing Seabridge.
