Recirculating Aquaculture Systems Course: Water Reuse for Intensive Fish Culture

November 2, 2015 - November 5, 2015

This four-day course presented by The Conservation Fund’s Freshwater Institute staff will cover the fundamentals of design and management of water reuse systems. Topics will include tank design, biofiltration, carrying capacity, gas conditioning, solids control, fish health, biosecurity and water quality considerations and treatments. The course will visit a commercial recirculation aquaculture operation and include an optional post-course tour of an aquaponics research facility.
