The Global Aquaculture Alliance’s Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) division is holding a workshop in Brisbane, Australia on Nov. 10.

The one-day workshop will cover the various types of BAP farm certifications, including group and multi-site cluster. These types of certifications are increasingly popular amongst farmers of coldwater and warmwater species, including salmon, as a means to drive audit efficiencies when pursuing or maintaining BAP certification.

Held at the Brisbane Riverview Hotel, the workshop is invitation only, available to a select group of farmers, processors, exporters/importers, government officials and other industry stakeholders. The workshop is free, and lunch will be provided.

Interested parties are asked to contact BAP Australia Coordinator Kent Inglis at kent.inglis@gaalliance.org or BAP Global Supply Chain Manager Marcos Moya at marcos.moya@gaalliance.org.
