The Global Aquaculture Alliance is proud to be among the partners of the 2nd Responsible Business Forum on Food & Agriculture in Hanoi, Vietnam, from June 23 to 24, 2015.
Organized by Global Initiatives, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam, WWF and VCCI, RBF Hanoi brings together more than 350 leaders from around the world to discuss improving the productivity and sustainability of key agricultural commodities, including aquaculture.
Carson Roper, international business development manager for GAA’s Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) third-party certification program, is among the more than 40 speakers on RBF Hanoi’s two-day program. Also speaking is ASEAN Secretary General H.E. Le Luong Minh.
At RBF Hanoi, working groups will produce recommendations on sustainable land use, equitable opportunity for small-holder farmers, increasing productivity and improving rural livelihoods. In addition to aquaculture, dairy, coffee, tea, rice and maize will be addressed.
