Best Aquaculture Practices certification has been adopted by major retailers in the global marketplace. Look for the “Best Aquaculture Practices Certified” mark on seafood packaging at stores operated by the companies listed below. If you don’t find it, ask your seafood department managers to stock seafood products from BAP-certified facilities.

BAP certification currently applies for facilities that raise and process shrimp, salmon, tilapia, channel catfish and Pangasius. The program is expanding to include other species, as well.
